About Me.

My name is Manuel Gomez Jones. I was born in Mexico City. I've developed my design and storytelling skills through roles in design consulting, theater production and TV Ads production, each enhancing my creating and practical expertise. In addition to excelling in collaborative environments, I am resourceful, using the available tools and knowledge to overcome challenges and deliver exceptional outcomes.

Assistant Set Designer and Set Dresser.

Worked closely with art director, placing and organizing props, furniture, and decorative items during filming to create the desired look. Also helped with model-making, organizing props and materials and refining the details to achieve the desired aesthetic.

Worked closely with the lead set designer for theater productions in Mexico City. Worked on drafting plans, helping with model-making, organizing props and materials, and coordinating with other departments to ensure that set elements meet artistic and logistical needs.

As an industrial designer, I'm responsible for creating and developing new products and services that are functional, aesthetically appealing, and user-friendly. They take a concept from idea to prototype and final product, considering the user experience, usability, and overall look and feel. My work spans various industries, from consumer goods to technology, and aiming to solve problems or enhance daily life by crafting products that are practical, innovative, and visually engaging.
